Hi and welcome!
My name is Sergey Pogosyan, I'm 3d artist and I'm working in cg industry since 1998. On this site you'll find my recent works, latest versions of my 3dsmax scripts and articles on cg software.
I'm a system engineer, but during studies in university I've learned about cg and 3dsmax and since then I've been working in 3d and I've had no regrets about "systems" :) But I'm happy when the project needs some script development or even gives me the idea of some automation algorithm. I'm full-time employee in architectural company and I'm doing architectural visualization. In my spare time I'm writing scripts (with maxscript), searching the ways to automate every day tasks, working on my (this) site (written in python) and learning other programs such Houdini, Nuke and so on.

Skills:
Main tool is 3ds max, I've been using it since version 1.2. Main duties are modeling, rendering, technical animation, camera flythrough, script writing. Programming is my hobby since secondary school, I've been using assembler on my old intel 8080 machine, then C/C++, TurboPascal in university and Java. In my student days I started to learn 3ds max and other cg programs, so I've gave up with the programming until I've discovered the Maxscript and Python. Since then I'm using scripting capability of every program in my workflow and trying to effectively automate general tasks in projects I'm working on.
